Yo, wussup peeps? I dont post that much on this forum, but I think this is worth posting. Long story but the ending is cool...I have a 91 240sx SE fb w/160,xxx miles on it. Modded lightly: N1 Dual catback, K&N FIPK, F&R strut bars, accel wires, ngk iridiums SP`s. Runs pretty damn good. But
this Tuesday just straight sucked azz. It was rainin not that hard but the ground was wet enough to break traction easily, so I started taking some larger corners in back areas where no people are around, faster.... n faster... lol neways, i took one left hand corner too quickly n hit the brakes grrrrrr lost control went sideways into a curb after doin a complete 180 haha slammed on my side of the car on far side of the streets curb. My back wheel slammed first, bending the control arm to kibbles n ****s leavin me with a bent-in back wheel. Front left wheel hits the curb a little bit but goes over the curb n up the grass hill in front of the house there. So im chillen there for a couple seconds like WTF jus happened!?!?! back up in reverse n go down the high grass yard there, not knowin the CA was bent. Drove my stupid *** home wit crooked *** alignment n bent wheel, driftin bak n forth in the rain, but not wantin to. Havent drove the car n now its just about Friday. Good news is this: I know this kid wit a 1990 white 240sx hatchback who crashed it n got an MG for 5700 bux, the thing is focken nice! his 240 is sittin out bak of his house w/ a bent front left frame, too much for him to fix- it was bad lookin... everything else is nice on it, sohc motor is actually still running, it has 120,000 miles n his suspension is still pretty good too... Since I crashed my car n need a control arm n sum otha parts off his car, he offered to sell it to me for $200. Wut do you guys think of this offer? He is going to help me put the CA on my car n fix it too.. Is this a good deal or wut?? This will help me later on if i ever need any other parts or want to sell parts of the car to other ppl to make some more $ lol WUT U GUYS THINK? thoughts opinions nething , dre

 

If you need a parts car go for it. The engine is of no use to you, but theres other parts you could use. If your just getting it for the control arm though, don't spend that much. I busted my rear driver side lower control arm before and it only cost me like $50

 

Ya, I was gonna use it for some other parts too.. My windshield washer fluid tank is leaking and his is still good, so i'll use that. He's throwin in some nice red sparco pedals that he paid 60 for also. His tires n wheels will b my hoopty drift wheels hehe- neways, if I went on ebay or something, what would b some parts I could sell easily ? gotta get sum agx's for the s techs

 

lower it a bit, like maybe 175-180 and show cash, i bet he'd take it!
