Good news

with the recent chopping in half of my s14 i have been in search of a s13 coupe. Cheaper and i like the body style better than the hatch. With the help of a guy named eddy (donteventry) i'm going to look at a 92 coupe. With 100k on it and a **** clutch he's looking for $1200 and i'm looking to offer $1000 cash. So we shall see what happens and i will update on this later after i go and see the car.

Wish me luck cause i need a car and if this doesnt pull through you'll see my ass driving an F-250. :barf:
At least this time i'll take the fire hydrant out instead of cracking my frame rail. HAHA :bigok:

lol... good luck...ackkkkkkk on the 250...so are you keeping all the parts from your other car or what??? motor build time im thinkin...

C-Walk Feb 13, 2005 06:15 PM

well my s14 got chopped... so i got 3100 from it. 1000 on a new car with less miles than my s14. 200 on new clutch. 1900 for a rebuild.

I don't know how the process goes, the insurance company cut your car in half?

C-Walk Feb 13, 2005 06:47 PM

hahahaha no... they said that the damage was more than what my car was worth so they paid me for wht my car was worth and took it to a junkyard. in turn the junkyard cut my car in half.

d4vech3n Feb 13, 2005 07:09 PM

That sucks. Good luck on your s13 project.

I guess i can't buy that shift panel and boot from you. Was the actual plastic blue or was the boot blue?

C-Walk Feb 13, 2005 07:21 PM

the plastic was blue... sorry

d4vech3n Feb 13, 2005 08:31 PM

Do you know which junkyard your car is at and was the leather on your shift boot in good condition?

If it's not too far away and not that much trouble, do you think you can get the stock shift boot out for me? $10 shipped?

:D :D :D

I understand if you don't want to or can't.

Good luck with the s13 project.

i love my s13 coupe!!! i am putting a motor in it with less miles from an auto right now, and a new exedy clutch, a s13 vlsd, tein spring and some other great parts... with the car i still havnt went over 3k yet, but give me time im workin on it :-) good luck with it!!!

C-Walk Feb 14, 2005 05:59 PM

well all seems good... i went to look at the coupe today. There was a crappy wing on the back that i will take off and bondo the screw holes. Little rust eating through on the passanger side skirt. Tiny dent on back driver side. Dash lights are out. No housing -the black metal around- the driver side light. And the clutch is crap. Other than that she's great. Oh yea no stereo. He said the price is negotiable since he wanted $1200. I'm going back with my buddy the "machanic" who's going to point out some fake problems with the car estimate its worth at $800 and try to get it for around $900-$1000.
