Having options is THE WORST!

I am so stuck on where to go next with my car....after it's done being painted, I know I want to do brakes at some point, for sure.

As far as power upgrades go, I am really just not sure what I want to do.

I know FOR SURE that I am going to upgrade to a GT2871R .64, but I am stuck on other stuff:

Options:

1) Stock intake mani, stock exhaust mani, T2 flanged internally gated turbo
2) Stock intake mani, better exhaust mani (bottommount), T2 internally gated
3) Stock intake mani, topmount (T3/T4) exhaust mani with external gate
4) Same as all above, but with Greddy intake manifold

....and then there is cams, which introduces even more combinations

Shooting for around 350 whp with strong emphasis on quick spooling

I almost bought the Greddy Intake Manifold today, but have heard so many mixed reviews....many people say it makes no difference unless you are going for a setup that places emphasis mostly on top-end...so I didn't get it yet haha

CodyACE on Zilvia has a really amazing setup with JWT S3 cams, stock (honed) exhaust mani, greddy IM, and JWT ECU....this is one of the nicest dyno sheets i have ever seen.......the torque is just beautiful:

http://forums2.freshalloy.com/showthread.php?t=158176

Although I don't necessarily need THAT much power, that is the type of response and torque/power curves I am going for

Anybody have input....I know there is TONS of info out there, there are just so many combos of manifolds, top/bottom mount, internal/external, cams......

If all else fails, I might just be a copycat and shoot for that setup ^

bro check out the turbo section you will find info there.

also ill warn you, your motor will exceed the limits of the smaller T28. they choke on KA's becuase the exhaust ports are bigger than that of an Sr20. 3oohp is achievable with a T28, however, if you would like anymore the turbo will not produce much beyond 15psi. so it either a big T2 GT series turbo or pretty much any choice of T3/T4 turbo ( Tdo4 for example)

Yeah man that sucks when you've got some extra car money burning a hole in your pocket and there are so many things you could get but you just can't make up your mind what to do next.

Talk to Steve Shadows on Zilvia. Send him a T28 and for $600 he will make it spool faster with more power than a gt2871r.

What kinda of tuning are you using? I say tuning, exhaust are first, if thats been done, i would go with the larger turbo, stock mani (don't crack as easy), bump up the psi a few, open up the intake and tune to compensate. That should be good for a solid power upgrade.
