Even Diesel trucks in Tokyo are being forced to put on some new catylitic converters to reduce emissions. Now the diesel truck thing I agree with since diesel exhaust is now thought to be worse then car exhaust. Nissan already dropped the GST-4 and the GTS-T Skylines from production as well as the GTI-R and the 180SX. Yet then they go ahead and sell the 280 hp 2.5L turbo RB25DET powered Stagea wagon with its GTR tranny and AWD.

Well after all these rumors you have Honda being 2 and Nissan 3
. Well looks like this might be the end of a very short road for us 240sx owners. I mean the s series chassis will be dead soon. The SR is aging technology. That motor has mature very nicely 700HP 9 second car. Did I mention that the SR is almost already dead. The Rb engine is already on the way out. I mean what's next? More SUV's, 2 door altimas? Well it's only matter of time. I hope this year we will find out what's really in store for us.

When did they start selling it with the GTR motor? People up until now have been swapping in the GTR motor or just getting the RB25DET bored.

My bad guys I've been busy. Yah the Autech is a badass ride. I forget about them. They build bad *** versions of everything. They even built a Autech GTI-R. I just can't get my hands on one.

The RB is now dead! The SR is about to die. The rumors of the proto-type Silvia are wrong. Nissan has said they have no plans for any future Silvia's so it looks as though the SR might be dead as well. Nissan wants to use that damn 3.5L V6 in everything they build. Simplify the whole assemblyline by using only one motor. What's next Honda drop the VTEC and install 3L V6's with the same power as they 1.8L VTEC's? I mean hey maybe they can use the CRV's 2.4L motor and get that same 160hp output!
Going to have to move to Australia next. At least they can appreciate a good motor.
