home made cai?????

One thing a lot of people like to do is build their own cold air intake with stuff you get from the hardware store. It'll save you a lot of money. It's an option if you like to do stuff yourself.

who has done this and can guide me in the right direction on how to do this...because i love to do my own work....

and is this mod any good??

If you want to build a quality intake and not some crappy PVC POS that makes your car look like a toilet bowl then go here.

of course you need to do your own angles but you should get the idea.

Not A Bad Idea, But I would rather just spend the money and get what was made for the car. A Honda CAI is a lot easier to install than a 240. A Honda One Is more or less straight the 240 has some big bends.

I myself have a Injen Intake with Extension and it sounds good, Don't know if my Butt Dyno felt any difference, but it does seem to do a little something.

Just throwing around my 2 cents.

I do agree with you 100%

The only good home made intakes I have seen have been ones where someone actually took the measurements and went to a muffler shop to get mandrel bends. But it will usually end up casting you more then buying a premade intake. The only reason they did it was no intake was made for their car.

To me, PVC pipe which is frequently used is not even an option.

Basically, if you can't afford something as inexpensive as an intake then you should think twice about modding your car.
