How to remove or stop the power seatbelts

I'm looking to take out the power seatbelts, or atleast stop them from moving. Does anyone know if there is a fuse or something that can shut them off? Will i have to resort to tearing apart the door?

If you don't want them to move just disconnect the computer.

pull the whole system... all of it... it weighs a ton... take out the track motor and the computer for it... i would even pul the wiring out for it as well... if you dont use it then why have it in there adding weight to your car??? remember every one hundred pounds is 1/10 of a second in the quarter mile...

On another note, does anyone know how to make them work? Mine dont come back anymore, the passanger side one used to. But not anymore.

I did have a 5 speed conversion done. Perhaps that had to do with it? I think everything is connected to my computer.

I think he put in a different one when he did the swap. but i dont think it worked even before that.

it has nothing to do with ur manual swap
the seatbelts have a standalone control unit. u will have to muscel them back into position then pull the box out

Well, you probably had to remove the center console to do the 5 speed swap, maybe when you re-assembled it you didn't connect everything properly.
