ouch, engine work? how much u get it for?

Darius2250 06-30-2003 09:36 PM

Suposedly the engine runs, most of the front is the bolt on body pieces it does need a radiator, fan and some front suport tweaking and a I think the steering rod, so I guess a clip no engine and tranny, I paid $500.00 for it, oh and the Drivers seat is gone too.

well not to bad of a buy, needs work and all but for a 91 pretty good priced, IF The engine works.

Darius2250 06-30-2003 09:40 PM

Yeah I think it was a good price, even if the motor is shot, I wanted something I could build up , I think it is exactly what I was looking for in a project car.

Yea it will be a perfect project car, only wish i can find sumthing like that:(

Darius2250 07-01-2003 11:23 AM

I can say that I was looking for a manual transmission car , but had a hell of a time finding one, I finally went for the auto and plan to switch it to a manual later. but I am not sure how hard that is going to be.

Congrats on your new 240!!!!

:spin:
Hey nice!!! and a good deal, if you do most of the work on the car you will save a bundle, find a nissan manual and get on it....Even the back of the car looks pretty clean, the spoiler looks in great shape and thats not common on the hatchbacks.....

Good luck:thumb:

Darius2250 07-01-2003 09:21 PM

thanks, I am planning on doing pretty much all the work myself.. if I can, it's all a learning experiance, plus I got some time to kill
