I got this ECU from a guy a while back, and I can't remember if it's obd1 or obd2. It came out of a '95 base model, is there anyway I can tell?

the list is said to be incomplete, and may contain errors.

Thanks man, and ya there may be errors because it looks like the list says all 95's were obd2, yet I am almost positive some 95's were obd1

it also says that the list is incomplete so i'm almost certain that the obd1s are just not listed. i've used this list about 5 times to personally verify what certain nissan ecus are for, and it's been correct each time.

I believe june and july 1994 production s14's had OBD1. I believe I looked at one the other day. It was hard to tell at first because those cars use 2 cats just like the obd2 s14's, and use the s14 g70maf. I hella want one of these ecu's so I can swap out and use the G70 maf for my s13 obd1 engine.

i'm not sure if there was mandate for all vehicles to be obdII compliant. but if there was, i'm almost certain it was in 96, even though chevy had a crude somewhat obdII setup as early as 94.

Ya you are right, the mandate started for '96 models
