I was looking at the photos you posted, trying to figure out what the hell you hit... I thought maybe a moose or livestock, then I read your story.

I'll echo the sentiments expressed here already - it's a horror and crime universal when a 240 quits the world in this way...

but:
- you're alive
- you're not crippled for life
- you've got friends who showed up when you really needed them
- you're alive

Remember and honor your baby in the next 240 you build...

i'm glad you made it out safely......

that is why my 240 stays parked in the winter. the roads and weathr is so unpridictable in Buffalo..i wont take the chance of a mishap on these roads

There seems to have been lots of accidents lately, on the forums and locally
I just got hit too in a parking lot 2 weeks ago but damages were not that bad.

 

Damn I had pictures of your car as my desktop. I too have a black coupe and liked the look of your exhaust.

You can get another car. At least you got to walk away from this one.

How many lives do you have left? 6-7?
