And I lost a brother......

Was on my way takin my buddy home, took a sharp left turn, then was coming around a blind right turn when I see this ******* coming towards me in the middle of this narrow *** road. My brain flashes to two options: hit the car because its not getting over and approaching fast or try and straddle the edge of the road. I tried to straddle the edge of the road when my right front tire slips off the edge of the road and it just pulls the whole car into the ditch, the front right side of the bumper cover hit the wall of the ditch and the whole car is just shocked into the air and on its side sliding down the ditch buckling the right front tire and breaking the right rear axle. We slide down the ditch, while the car turns on its roof, finally sliding to a halt thirty feet from where the tire first slipped into the ditch. I quickly turn the egnition off, take my seat belt off and tell my buddy to get out. His side was blocked by the ditch but I was able to dig out some rocks and get out my window with him behind me then climbing underneath the barb wire fence the the car was beside I help my buddy out. I ask if he's ok he says he's ok but he shoulder just hurts a little bc the rook caved in a little on his side, I help him back through the fence back onto the road where I can call for help. We walk to his house(thats how close we were) and get his car and drive it back to the wreck site and wait for the proper authorities. I watch in pain and anguish as I watch my mechanical brother be pulled from the ditch knowing that I had been to hell and back with it, had been through so much and had so many memories with it. This happened today and I feel like I've lost a brother. May it rest in peace in the junkyard heaven and it will be missed.

i know i felt sad today for some reason and now i know why. i'm glad you and your friend are alright and in the end that's all that really matters. you had me worried the way you were talking about your friend and the title of this thread i thought it was going to be a lot worst.

Really sorry about that man. I'm 16 and I have no idea how you do it. I've got to say you've got a lot more responsibility than I.

Sorry about your 240 .. i'm sure you'll get another some day.
Glad to hear you guys are okay.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I'm glad to hear you guys are okay. Something similar happened to me when I was 16. I was hit by a drunk driver (and hit and run). The cops finally caught up with him; however, he didn't have insurance. Long story short, a year later I got a settlement for my car's value + hospital costs, and not to mention got a much nicer vehicle. So maybe you will get a better 240 soon. Good luck!

Well, went down to the bodyshop where they're holding my car and visited it since I don't have the money to get it out. Suprisingly enough I got in the driver seat and put the key in the ignition and it started right up, still had half a tank of gas in it. Thats when they got pissed at me and told me to stop what I was doin and leave. Pretty badass 240 to be flipped and rolled and still start up like nothing had happened, 240's are BADA$$.
