Talking I want to Be a Nissan Owner!! <-<-<-

I'm looking for a Nissan RWD car. I'm leaning towards the 180sx, because i love the body style. I have a few things to learn and want to know before i go out and buy the car and parts, etc.. So here it is..

Goal:
I want to have a total drift car. No straight aways, Some autox, please less rice and More of meat...keeping it JDM.

I want to have it set up just for the road. SO please which nissan do you recommend.

Questions:
1. Which year is the lightest (89-94) 240sx and what's the curb weight. And it's Weight Distribution..?

2. Which 240sx (89-94) have Factory LSD or easy to swap LSD

3. Which year 240sx (89-94) is the easiest to swap an sr20det.

4. Whats the most common suspension mods and power mods that gets you more "bang for the dollars."

5. What websites do you recommend this newbie to for 180sx info..

6. Last one.. Does anyone want to sell me there 180sx, hehe, pref. Michigan owner.., black..5spd and please be running (something to practice before i go all out on hookups)

I know some of the questions are idiotic but everyone was a newbie once.. so hopefully there's some nice people on this board that want to teach a first timer on club240. Thanks. Kai

ps. im not a total newbie, i know the difference between a redtop and blacktop. And always go for Full Set Coilovers...can you say Tein Type Flex w/ adj camber plates.

91-93 will be the easiest...because the sterring pump is compatible wihtthe sR20. Also all the 94 240s are convertablie...and if i were u i wouldnt get one of those..if u want a whole bunch of sites and info go to www.zilvia.net

HEs with the stock 8/7 spring rate sucks ***. dirft and auto-x setup are totally different. make up your mind.

ok i'll probably go way off topic with this one but here i go anyway. The reason all of the 94 240's are convertibles is (drum roll) because they are all coupes. Excluding those 180's still made only in japan at the time. Also did you know that the U.S. was the only country to get convertibles, that is until the s-15 varietta came out in Japan. The difference between the two? The Varietta is a hard top convertible (a-la the soarer/SC) the 94 coupes top was targa, I believe.

The S13 Silvia convertable was sold in Japan through Autech, which I consider Nissan because it's a Nissan company.

Thanks for posting you guys. I'm not interested in convertibles, but i want to know about autox and drift setup. How is it different?... Here's a starting plan ONCE i get a 180sx.

Car: 91-94 Hatchback 240sx.
mods:
full set coilovers w/ adj. camber plates
rear sway bars
rear strut tower bar
front strut tower bar
bigger brakes
and.. GOtta have the Advan RG's. wider is better please..
and.and. a bunch of tires. cheaper is better...

so what kinda setup do you consider this?..
this is just a beginner's idea, so please w/ your experience what else would you recommend for a drift setup. ???

ps. does the 91-94 HB have drum brakes and which year comes w/ the stock LSD or which year ?should? be easy to add LSD.

thanks.
