Your going to have to give us a little more info. What are you wiring? Or I should say what is it for?

i made a switch panel with 2 simple switches installed right now. IT's going in the slot under the radio. I'm going to have 2 little neons inside and i want to be able to control them with one switch. I want the other switch to turn on the fog lights. Only problem with the fog light switch is i think the wire is to skinny and the wire to the fogs is to thick. I dont think i can join them cause they will melt. Anyone help with that info. The switch wire is really small. It's like the black and red wire that comes out of those little boom boxes speakers. and i think they are like 8 amp.

i thought about just hookin them up to the remote wire for my headunit but i dont konw. I also thuoght about hookin them up the the power cable and ground that go straight to the head unit. But i blew a fuse. Any help is appreciated

the basics, maybe throw in a fuse in there if you want. but technically that's the way it SHOULD be (directly from battery).

as far as wire size, you can always go to home depot and buy wire. (speaker wire, black sheathing with 2 wires inside, probably 14ga) and solder directly to the switch. can't say too much because i don't know what switches you have...

djradam was right about how to wire them up I would just put the switch on the power side of the neon or fogs rather than the ground side. Shold work just fine. Remeber to ground to the chassis. For the neon I would put an 10a inline fuse just to save your neon from over heating and melting what is next to it.
