Manual steering rack?

Hey guys, haven't been on in a while, the artist formerly known as streets45 here, apparently lost my username...

Anyways, back in the 240 ballgame, and building 2 cars... trying to find something on a manual steering rack.

I'm converting the drift car to RHD for fabrication ease. going 1JZ, dropping in a carbon dash and pedal box.. only issue I'm having is finding parts for the steering swap...

any info would be great, been searching for hours and found nothing. (useful anyways) again I also really want to do a manual swap on the rack...

If you have troubles finding a manual rack you can always take a power rack and convert it. If its out it's way easy. Remove all the fluid, fill with a semi-thin grease and cap the ports for the line. You have to remove one of the sides to get the grease in but it's not too hard and there is a write up somewhere on z-net.

actually if you are going to use a Toyota Engine then changing your car to RHD will not aide fabrication it will only hinder it, remember Toyota's have the exhaust and intake sides of their motor reversed to a Nissan engine so making your car RHD when your turbo is on the right side of the car is counter productive.

leave it LHD save yourself money, time and headaches
