Rpm dropped to stall...Need help!!!

Well here is my problem, i have a stock 1992 240sx and it seem that everytime i try to push it hard, it stalled. For instance when i was in second gear n i take it to about 6 thousand something rpm n if i put it in neutral around there there my rpm drop till the car stalled...need advice on what happen? lmk thankz

mine does that too everyonce and a while....i feel like thats a common problem tho as it was one of the points under "you know you own a 240sx when..."

lol if that so, then i guess i own a 240sx then rofl... well thankz neway man just hope tat it aint deal with no motor prob.

what does your car idle at on your rpm?

my car idle around 1000 rpm r like a lil less than tat

yeah this happened to me... this is what i did... on neutral i held the gas pedal at 2000 rpm for about 10 to 15 seconds then i drove around and my car idled at 700-750... it stopped stalling... you can try this... if it doesnt work then i dont know...

well here is another prob i did wat yall show me but then when i started driving for a while n again when i put it in neutral it drop to like big dash after 0 rpm so lmk

clean the maf with 99% alcohol if it's dirty and change plugs/wires and maybe the dizzy rotor. not a bad time to seafoam either
