needle problem
 

i was installing some indiglo gauges in my car and i had to take out the needles so that i can fit them on. i put the needles bak thinkin that they would reset automatically but it didnt..now both the speed and the rpm are all messed up..does nebody kno how i can reset them to the way they were..somebody please help

it should say in the instructions?

they should rest at 0 when the key is off... put the gague in and then plug it in without the clear plastic cover... turn the key on and then off again and put the needles in place on the 0... then test it out... you might be off a little but not too much... adjust as needed...

quik ques...so let me get this rite im supposed turn the key on and off when its plugged in with the cover without the needles..then unplug it then plug it bak in and put the needle on 0...is that wat im supposed to do

Well you can plug it in without the plastic cover on, so you can put the needles on while the car is on. I don't quite think that it'll work for speedo...maybe tach, but the needle rests on the pin that holds it, it'll be in the 6:00 position otherwise.

o yea i kno..but i cudnt slip on the rpm gauge over the needles it didnt fit correctly..so i had to take the needle out and when i did after i put it bak it it wasnt working rite

Then get it recalibrated. :)

Thats probably the only thing you can really do, my friend...

and to get it recalibrated i have to take it to a shop or suttin
