Oil cooler through radiator
Okay my buddy came up with this idea that since I have a automatic radiator and there is two open nozzles on the bottom of the radiator, that I could run a oil line into those open nozzles and cool my oil through my radiator, does that sound like a good idea??? those open nozzles where for to cool the auto tranny fluid but since I converted it over to manual they are left open.

.....good question?
|
it dose because not only would it cool your oil but it would also increase oil capacity. the question i have is if it will cause any problems will the oil pressure. i'd imagine not but it's something to keep in mind.
|
it might cause pressure loss

NO. oil flows through -10an line bro.. that will restrict also trans fluid is not hot as oil.

I know the GM cars got there oil running through there radiator but I am not going to try it.

Thats a pretty common setup and a lot of aftermarket radiators come with heat exchangers built in. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
