Patching up a radiator

I have a cracked rad and seeing as it looks like i'm most likely going to just get an engine swap (and probably get a new rad with that) i may as well just patch up my current one for now.

I've heard JB weld works well.

Anyone got a tutorial or suggestions? is this a bad idea?

i used orange gasket sealer. it worked all winter for me but wouldn't recomend it if you are going to use a/c. your best bet if you're trying to go cheap is a junk yard.

i seen on myth bosters that you can use a Reg. Egg to seal up a radiator, just poor it in the radiator and it will seal it up.......

Crazy, but it works.....lol
