people who've changed gasket on Valve cover
did u guys re-torque the bolts after the first initial start up after changin the gasket...
how long after the install if so thanx... |
just make sure u install the bolts in the reverse order u took them off, and do it in alternating fashion..kinda like when u do your rims... i think u'll be fine without using a torque wrench, just make sure its nice and tight.

Originally posted by HondaKillah ...had a lil oil leak huh FAZE? son, my car would hav lil trails of smoke come under the hood sometimes, n into the cabin.. i thought it was jus the fact that my timin' chain cover had to be re-sealed..... i noticed that i wasn't blowin' smoke out my tail pipe as much yesterday either... ju s a lil' once, but that is prob oil residue still in the cylinders... i'll see how it acts this week....
