Probe vs. 240sx?
Ma bud has a Ford Probe and I have a 1991 240sx. People say are whips look alike and wanna see who is faster? If i race him who will win. I have an automatic tranny. His Probe has an intake and muffler.

it would be a good race,
240=155hp 160lb-ft @~2800lbs FR *not including driver*
PGT=165hp 160lb-ft @~2850lbs FF *not including driver*
my friend had a 626 w/ the 2.5 V6 (165hp) and i raced him w/ my 89 SOHC and beat him by three cars but his is an auto and mine was a stick.
now he has a KL-ZE witch has 200hp 160lb-ft and when i raced him w/ my hatch (SOHC w/ a cleand head) that was fully striped (everything from front seats back) i won by maybe 6" we called it a draw because our "friend" that was susposed to be at the finish line was about 50ft before it so i let off a little when i saw my "friend".
SO it would be a good race, it would only be even if it was auto VS. auto or stick VS. stick.
just because it says ford on the outside doesn't mean **** it is a good car!
the 626, MX6, Probe are basicly the same.

unfortunately the gt v6 is a bit fraster then a stock 240sx. But who knows maybe this guy can't shift, or his car runs like ****, after all it does have a mazda motor

dude, you're gonna win. i just got here in the states, and my cousin has this matrix with about 150hp now. and yeah...this guy in what looked like a modified probe kept trying to persuade us to race him, and we smoked him. so, i think you should have no problem. i hope. i wouldn't wanna see a 240 get disgraced by a wanna be 240

go to www.probetalk.com and tell them that Probes suck and that they can't create power.
i was thinking of useing the KL-ZE in a 240... that's 200hp NA, no waiting for the turbo to spool to make power.
