production numbers

Where can I find all the production numbers of 1997 and 1998 Nissan 240SX's? All that I've heard is that less than 5000 total were produced throughout those two years. I'd like to know how many base models, SE's and LE's were produced in both years, as well as how many had automatic transmissions vs manual transmissions.

89 - 68118
90 - 60582

94 - 1167
95 - 25114

i actually saw a 94 .... at first i was like WTF! would that be considered "rare"? 1167 is a VERY low number....

Yeah it is. Even 2178 is quite the low number. If they were evenly distributed among all 50 states, that'd be 43 or 44 per state. Divide that up into manual vs automatic and you probably have maybe 20 manual transmission cars per state. Then divide those into base models, SE's and LE's and all the sudden a 1998 Nissan 240SX SE with a manual transmission becomes a rarity. Thanks by the way for the numbers dude.

TTHHATS why I couldn't get a kouki. Big difference after 95. You never see a 96 zenki, and forget bout a kouki.

silviadriver 03-01-2005 10:41 PM

you see 96 zenkis, you juss can barely tell because the only exterior difference is the grille

96 zenkis have a different grill? Never knew.
