In my opinion, yes!

BlitzDriftGTR 06-12-2005 09:58 PM

Well then again is it a v8 or v6?

Fast1One 06-12-2005 10:11 PM

v6 you won...v8, youll give him a little scare! Learn How to use the edit button Blitz :thumb:

You'll kill a v6... anything would kill a v6 come to think of it.

Well the new (05') V-6's have 200hp, the GT's are somewhere around 300. They are pretty mean.

Cape 240 06-13-2005 11:18 AM

I love how you guys say anything will own V6 ... considering we've got the 4's !!!

But yea, V6 you got it. V8, is probably a driver's race. I haven't been in a new mustang yet.

lookatmy240 06-13-2005 02:48 PM

hmmmm well i guess i will race him and find out who will win hun i'm running a T28G S15 turbo with an aftermarket manifold so it's not completely stock but i hope i wont loss their's money on this race i will record it and show post it online thanks guys it's a V8

At 10 pounds you will not unless the guy doesn't know what he is doing buy get a manual boost controller and get the boost up to 17pound just for that one race and you should be ok

BlitzDriftGTR 06-13-2005 04:31 PM

v8 huh? :dunno:

Mustang GT 05 v8:

"The GT is a 300-horsepower, five-speed pavement-ripper for about $25,000. The new three-valve V-8 engine features both variable camshaft timing and electronicClick for a larger 2005 Ford Mustang picture throttle control, with a new set of smarter, faster-acting engine electronic controls. It will run 0-60 mph in about 5.5 seconds, it will outbrake a large number of sporty cars with its big new brakes, and it handles better on canyon roads that any previous Mustang except the Cobra, with a minimum of body roll and a large portion of tire grip.
It looks mean, and it drives mean, with 320 pound-feet of torque, a slick shifter, a brawny, loud exhaust note, and one of the world's largest aftermarket networks, including Ford's in-house parts company, Ford Racing Technology, for those who want even higher performance."

Im not going to get the specs for your car because you have T28G S15 Turbo so your pushing more then I think. 300hp for the mustang and I believe around 220 - 250 hp for you. Considering how much your car weighs you shouldn't be far behind him if he does take you.

Only one way to see! Race him!! Then tell us the results, so good luck!

Ayuaddict 06-13-2005 07:07 PM

those SVT cobras are fast...supercharged V8 and $hit...nothing a inline 4 cant handle with enough boost....

Fast1One 06-13-2005 07:17 PM

boost is good...

Chiefgmsr 06-13-2005 09:18 PM
