How exactly do you get the window and window regulator out? The work manual I have for my 240 isn't detailed enough and doesn't describe how to remove it. I was in a Pull a Part kinda place today and my dad and I tried every possible thing to get it out. We took off all the nuts from the bolts that held the window regulator to the door frame, took off all other nuts & bolts we could find that held the door together and we could still not get the window & regulator out. Is there some special way to removing it?

This is the best I can do, tomorrow I'm gonna be swapping my drivers side window so I should have more insight on this then.

Hm thanks. I think we got all those bolts & nuts loose... I don't know why we couldn't get it out. I think it may have been those linkages to the door latches now that I've seen that diagram and thought about it; maybe they are connected to the window regulator somehow?

man can you help me or post some steps on how to remove and install the window regulator? where did you bought those window regulator parts? please help thanks a lot.
