Scratched Glass
 

I some how aquired a large scratch across my windsheild. It happned last time it froze over. I think a frozen pebble or somthing got stuck under the wiper.

My point is, There is a large scratch on my windsheild. Is there anyway to remove this scratch without having to purchase a new windsheild?? I have a buffer and plenty of wax.

Someone please give me some hope.

How deep is it? If you run your finger nail across it & you can feel it, may be too deep. But you can try to buff it out. NO regular wax will not work.
You need to get some cerium oxide.
It is by no means an easy task.
You may want to find out it you have the windshield clause in your state. What that means is in MOST( not all) states. They have a deduct free 1st windshield replacement( meaning you DO NOT pay for it) on your first windshiled of each car you buy( caused by accidents, not self caused. Like you got mad & threw a rachet at your car).
It's work looking into if the scratch is bad.

Wow! free windsheilds. That would be ideal. The scratches arent very deep but you can feel them with your fingernail. Its like a series of little scratches combined in a streak.

Where would I come about finding this jewlers wax?
