some of them have this kinda locking glue that is a ***** to break. i had it one of my old cars. had ro use pliers to unscrew the *****. once the glue breaks its a piece of ****. ****ed up the rubber on the **** tho (get your minds out of the gutter)

With my stock shift **** I used a nice think towel and some vise-grips. The towel protects the shift ****. It is difficult to break loose, and you may feel like your going to break something, but you won't. Just twist like a SOB and she'll come off.
