Should I pick this up?

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/3064569656.html

Found out it's owner is a mutual friend that knows his way around 240's. Do you guys think this is a solid car to get for a daily driver (~50 miles a day)? The price is a bit steep but with the Sil40 conversion and a 65k mile KA it's somewhat understandable. Also, my friends that have seen this car are telling me it's straight as an arrow and the chassis is in good condition. What do you guys think? Should I go for it?

P.S. Interior looks good (and it's all there lol), no interior pics on the ad but I had him send me 1 (I'm going to look at it tomorrow) and the interior looked actually pretty good from what he sent me. Hopefully the rest of the interior I can't see is in just as good shape.

Yeah I'm thinking the same... Might try to get the price to come down because I've seen nicer 240's with swaps go for almost 4k but other than that I think I'm gonna go for it.

Alright found out that that Sil40 has a bent frame... doesn't effect driving or anything but it's still something to consider. So I've been looking more and found this...

What do you guys think about this? Cosmetically it looks better, I'm just worried about the mileage.

lol 179k miles is nothing on a KA ive seen people turbo 250k+ miles KA's that are tired and leaky.

if the car is in good shape the motor will be the least of your worries if anything the KA motors are a dime a dozen i can get them down here in miami for $100-150 and it dosnt take more then an afternoon and some beer to swap it out

Really? Haha I'm still a bit of a noob as you may have already found out... Well that's good to know that that's a reliable motor. Hopefully those 179k miles were not all drifting miles lol.
