Springs.....?
i have a set of S13 Eibach Sportlines that i'm selling...however....they've been chopped 2 coils on all 4, how low will it get the car?
-jaysin |
too damn low. throw them in the trash.
they've already been sold, i just gotta deliver them to the kid...but i at least wanna answer his question on "how low will it get my car?"
-jaysin |
his **** is gonna be l-o-w
.....to low, thats all I can say
Yup, it'll be too low. I have Eibach Pro-Kit springs on stock wheels and tires, and I scrape going into driveways all the time. With cut coils, it will be way too low.
that kid got ripped off .... but for 10 bucks its not much of a rip off
well...it's a done deal....sold and i already spent the money :bigok: it's off my hands now...not my problem...:p

some kids gonna be hella pimpin in those springs hah.. i can picture it, driving to his high school with like 1mm ground clearance. very nice. hah.
i wanna see a picture of his car w/ the springs installed, it should be dropped about 4-5" it'll look good but it'll hadle like a K-car :D
he be scraping over pebbles and the reflecters on the freeways..
The messed up thing is the springs are way to short for the stroke of the strut. When he goes over a incline( driveway, speedbump) sideways( all the lowered guys know what i'm talking about). The spring will fall out of the strut & could possibly blow his tire. At the very least scrape the **** out of the tire.
I would have never sold them. The type of springs you can take off the strut without a compressor tool...bad news. |
