Steering Wheel Quick Release recommendations?

I've decided to go with a quick release for security reasons. And plus, it extends the wheel. But I'm not sure about what brand to go with. I've narrowed it (I guess) down to these:

Panda Garage "Spline" - $115

L2 - $150

SPL - $132

I've only read reviews and recommendations for the L2's. The Panda Garage one is appealing because of it's price. They also offer a "Ball Lock" design for $145. I have no idea what the differences are between the two designs, but from what they've said, it just costs more to make the "Ball Lock" design.

And then there's SPL. Oh, SPL, how great you 3 letters are. Hahaha. I'm ordering my coilovers from them for sure. I don't doubt the quality, but if the L2 is sturdier than the SPL ones, I might as well go for the L2.

I'll probably end up going with L2's if I don't hear anything about the other ones. I've only read good things about the L2's.

By the way, I'm going with an HKB hub and some sort or Nardi probably.

I've been debating on these also... I don't see how the Ebay ones would be any worse than the L2, however. Both are machined Billet Aluminum, I've dealt with these machined pieces before and they are practically identical... i dont see how one would malfunction or not serve it's purpose even if it is a good 40-50 bucks cheaper...
