stereo/clock/electric problem

hey guys, i got a problem today in my S14. when i turn off my car and then turn it back on again (after any amount of time) the clock resets to 1:00 and the stereo turns off and goes to demo mode. earlier, i was driving and the stereo just turned itself off. i pressed the button and turned it back on, thought it was kinda weird.
as for electronics i have a Viper alarm and a JL audio sub that has been unplugged for 2 or 3 days.
any ideas of what could be wrong? the other electronics (dome light, headlights) still work fine when the key is out. this is kinda annoying and i dont want this is cause anything else to happen.
and my sub isnt working either right now (it might have nothing to do with this problem tho).
should i take it to the dealership? keep in mind i have an SR/heavily modified 240

any suggestions are appreciated

thanks,
Greg

Did you check your fuses?

someone said it might be a fuse. i dont have the kick panel next to the clutch that covers those fuses, if someone could take a pic of the fuse box cover so i know which fuse to look for, thatd be awesome. i dont know which is which. thanks

*i hope its just a fuse.

My head unit did that when my alternator started to go out. It couldnt hurt to test that.

ill probably stop by the dealership on monday or tuesday to see if they can order the kick panel/fusebox cover and see if they can take a look at my problem. are the dealerships usually cool with SR20 swaps?

Autozone will check it for free, or you can do it with a multitester.
