Stupid whistle!
 

Haha, Is this a common thing? Everytime I hit the highway or pick up speed, my sunroof whistles lol, It suckkks, I have to keep the latch like halfway down lol

Yeah, it is a pretty common problem, the weather stripping is junk. I always just did the latch thing to keep it down.

i broke my latch. and i have it zip tied at the moment. anyone know where i can buy a latch??? i f*ing looked everywhere!!!!


but yah, it still whistles. i open the window a crack and it helps a little.

LOL. my latch is broken as well. But mine is a bit odd in how it broke. The metal arms that raise and lower it... well one of the arms came off, like the pin fell out. Gay.

my latch only had one arm when i bought my car so i bought a new latch and the thing was quiet. then the stripping broke and it whistles yet again. where can u get replacement stripping or can you not replace it?

where did you get your latch!!!!!!!! i have it zip tied, but it is not tight enough...


i also have a whistle on low speed in 4th and 5th gear when i accelerate normally..i thin its the tranny bahh..

bah i always hated sunroof's.
im gona get some lexan cut it to the right size and tint it.
Then take out the glass and motor and permanently seal the lexan on.

motor?? i think yours is automatic, mines isn't... is just the moonroof that goes up>>manually. and you open the latch and then push up , well ehlatch is broken, so you can just puch it up and its jumps and wind and blahh bahhh.. i needa latch!!

yea ive only seen 1 s13 with an automatic sunroof. i got my latch on the forums here from a nice gentleman. i used paypal and got my latch shipped to me. took five mins to install on the glass and another five mins to line it up nicely.

^^^ is it really that rare to see a s13 with automatic sunroof? if got one, no wistle for me! lol

like i said, ive only seen 1 s13 with an automatic sunroof in person. perhaps some of the forum elders will comment and set us straight. i do know, and u may call me a corn ball, that in Need For Speed Underground 1, the s13 comes with a manual sunroof. just a useless tid bit.

i believe hatchbacks have manual while coupes have auto (maybe both)
