Question Tips on looking for a nice 240?

I know you guys don't like these "nub" questions but I don't know where else to post this, sorry.

Anyways, I'll have a pretty nice supply of cash coming in shortly and I'm interested in picking up a 5spd 240sx. Are there certain years that you guys would recommend? I know to stay away from '94s because they came in automatic and convertible only. Another question is how much should a '91 or '93 run for with the stock ka24 in it. When I'm checking out a car what should I look for? What are good signs and bad signs (apart from oil and other fluid).

Sorry if you don't like my thread... but I figured you guys would know best when talking about a 240.

you can get a 91 -93 for $1100-2500 depending on condition and how bad the person wants to unload the car.. Look for rust in the front fender wells above the frame rails , if it's got a sunroof check around it for any bubbling paint, signs of rust. Make sure you do a car fax make sure there is no frame damage. And my prefference always buy one that's totaly stock.. The motor check the oil cap for oil splater or any moister. turn the car on and listen to the valvetrain for chatter, look for any smoke, leaky VC gaskests i wouldn't worry about,. All i can think of right now, most the other stuff i don't care about cause you end up changing it all.
