valve cover torque specs and order?

valve cover torque specs and order?
Recently my cam gear chain gaurd broke off and i had to replace it. When I retightened my bolts the did not tighten all the way. I know i need to replace then and only torque them to a certain amount. Does anyone know the torque and order specs ??? Thx for any help I could not find it.
