I have a 89 coupe. 10k on a rebuilt motor (ka24e), it has original tranny 225,000 miles and 5th gear is out. The bushings on the tension rods are worn out, besides that everything else is good. So the question is should I get a sr20 or should i get a sick suspension setup, and a new tranny?

 

Option numero dos! Why waste a freshly rebuilt motor?

do suspension, play around with the car and when you're used to it, get a turbo setup

 

lol, new motor, should i replace the tranny and suspension or motor swap. Well ****, the motor is fine, duh.

 

suspension, wheels, more suspension, b&m, lsd/welded, bucket, then mabey start messing with motor. stock ka ftw haha.

 

thanks for the input. The suspension route seems the better way. Im thinking of getting the Stance GR+pro, and SPL v2 tension rods. I don't know about the rear-links yet. Maybe JIC
