Right now im trying to get a brake upgrade so i can pass inspection but after that i want to modified my fastback... I was wondering what i should do first? Looks or engine both will cost me money and time... any ideas will be appreciated

 

depends what youre into, i was always thinking of getting a nice paint job with a unique body kit, $$$$$, but now I'm getting an SR cause ive been to a track and i know how fun it is, + im tired of all this lag.

 

if I were YOU i would focus on upgrading the problem areas.
then i would upgrade the suspension

the car will have OK power..but will handle tons better with a little money.....forget looks

first thing i did was get new lights, those h4 conversion ones. i hope they make a difference, i didn't get them in yet. i also got a new deck. other than those mine's is all stock. next thing i m going for is suspension.

it will matter what you want. handling, power, sounds, looks. find out what is your priorities and then go from there.

even if u get a swap eventually or FAR down the road like some guys, i recomend an injen intake with the cold air extension, the power gains are great and it has a great roar sound Then put a full cat back on dat sucker to free up ur KA's breathing capabilities, then get some suspension components. Thats just me though its really up to u and depends on what ur looking for

With much thinking I will try fix the problem area and then maybe go for a sound system, then hopefully if i can save up enough $$$$$, i want to get a s13 front converson then maybe down the road I can do an sr20det swap... oh by the way if i were to order a clip (Which i know it contant the whole motor and tranny) does it come with the s13 projector headlight along with the front fender and hood or do i have to get that seperate?

 

You can probably put in a special order to get a front clip that has go0d lights, fenders and etc. Usually though, they dont have that kind of stuff.

 

well i think it depends on what ur car looks like now. if its pretty clean cut ide say start with the vvvvvvvrrrrrrooooommmmm work but if ur body is in bad shape ide fix the body put some paint on it some rims and mabey a floor kit. i have a 90 240 sx and when i bouth mine fron the dealership like 4 months ago it was in MINT condtion so there for im gunna start with the vvrroommm work

well to be honest ive seen worse its really no too bad.

 

i'm tellin ya...fix what needs to be fixed or replaced
then

get some gr-2 shocks and some sportlines
THEN focus on going faster
you dont need an intake and exhaust yet.
i know pleanty of guys with a bone stock motor and a suspension upgrade

it will bring what little HP you have out

Find where you car bleeds hp. Reign it back in. I pull on other stock 240s and cars with intake and exhausts. It will cost money but it is fun to open my hood and hear things like, "that **** is all stock".

Problem areas make you loose power. Fix them.

 

I like the spraypaint ideas Yeah i think about do all that... but im not to sure about lowing my car because the road around my area is very bad.... but thanx for all the advice
