How to take off gauge cluster cover
 

Ive looked but couldnt find a write up anywhere so here goes. First of all to clear it up im talking about the piece where all the buttons are heads such as the headlight switch, the dimmer etc. Do you have to take the steering wheel off in order to fully clear it? i remember in my coupe i ended up cracking this piece and i couldnt find another non cracked in the pick a part so im trying not to break this one. Ill try getting pics of the piece im talking about just so were clear. Hopefully someone can help, and thank you!!!!

I should have done a write-up on this when I took mine off for the umpteen time. If I remember correctly I removed the steering wheel column cover, the lower column cover and I loosened the two gold steering column bolts so I could pull the steering column down a tad if I needed the space. You remove the two small screws at the top of the cluster bezel and you have to pull the bezel out which is the hard part because you want to take care not to bust the clips along the edge that holds it in. You also want to disconnect the harnesses going to the console buttons.

I hate it when people take credit for others work. Same thing happed to me with my focus. I wrote directions for installing Mach Audio Edition HID headlights. Someone copied my word file, change the pictures after they did the work and re-posted it as thier own. Even kept the refferences to my dad that I had put in.....

i've seen it happen too but that's not what happened here. it really is someone else.
