how to take out power steering properly.
well i got all the powersteering related stuff out except for the rack and pinon. (duh) yes its pretty loose while going but any any speed but, it will get moderatly harder before getting fully turned. after i drained out all the old fluid i put in a little bit. maybe .5 cup of new fluid. thanks guys. its only been about 2 rounds around the block. so im just trying to play it safe.

so do i fill it up 100%. like have a friend turn the wheel while i pour powersteering fluid into it. or leave it stationary and just fill it up?

well i did that and it seems like i cant "throw" the wheel. like theres always some resistant on it at any speed.

and i wouldnt plug the lines completely...if crimp them and bend em...u might be feeling it more if u plug it becuase theres an air pocket having problems shifting around... |
na dude. You don't Fill the rack to max capacity. you just leave enough fluid in the rack to keep it lubed... also you can cut those lines where he marked it and just crimp them
i have been riding on mine for the last 4 1/2 years no issue. |
