A little help..(again)

so many problems.haha.

but yeah so my car has all the accsessories but when i go to start it, it clicks once, i replaced the battery, and cables.

Could it be the starter?

sorry for my noobiness. haah

jramosthe1st! 02-10-2009 05:27 PM

yes it could be the starter. you can tap on it with a hammer or something similar and see if that helps. the brushes get gunked up and cause this problem. however if taping on it does help then it's also an indication that the starter is just about done for. taking it apart and cleaning it may prolong the life depending on the condition of the brushes.

get it tested to be sure though.

Hey Nick, since your a newbe sorta, try posting ALL your questions under this new thread or your other "question" thread.

We will try to help you but don't start new threads.
And if you do start a thread,
PLEASE: Try to title it nicely, by putting some details. on the title. Because "A little help..(again)" doesn't really tell use what to expect.

This will help people who search.

So ask all your questions here/the other one and we'll (try to) HELP YOU!
(no hard feelings, cause i like new members, and i like your car.)

I think that the problem could be your messed up transmission.
