OG Raine's Garage Guides: Installing Shocks and Springs (S14)

Wrote these awhile back, but a few buddies started getting into 240sx' and brought me here again... so I thought I'd re-post my guides for the newer people who wasn't around yet when I was a regular LOL

Installing Shocks and Springs (S14)

Intro: Lowering your car's ride height is one of the most common mods - probably somewhere in the top 3 'first mods' done to any car. A set of quality brand springs will lower your 240sx anywhere from 0.5" to 2.7" and dramatically change the overall look of your car, not to mention better road handling and response.

For this guide we will be installing not only springs, but shocks as well into an S14. The springs are a set of Tanabe DF-210's and the shocks are Tokico Blues. These were assembled beforehand using OEM upper spring mounts.

This procedure takes about 60 minutes to complete after the car is raised on jack stands, provided that you have a complete shock/spring assembly ready to bolt on to the car. If you are just doing shocks, or just doing springs, then add more time to disassemble the stock suspension to use parts when assembling the new one.
