Need Help Now!!!!
Ok guys. I have a problem. I recently rebuilt my ka24e for the kat project. I had my crank turned .10 over but didnt have anything done to the block besides a good cleaning. I bought .10 over bearings and put everything back together with all new internals. Well once back together the damn thing can barely be turned over by hand. I took it back apart and checked the clearences once more and lubed it up again but still the same. What do i need to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Did you get this resolved, if so what was the fix?

me and one of my friends took the motor back apart this past tuesday and found that everything was way too tight. I inspected everything and and found a high spot on a journal on the crank. I took my rods to the machine shop to get reconditioned and my crank to get polished. Just got everything back today and am planning on putting it all back together tuesday when my new bearings arrive. If everything goes right i will then be part of the ka-t world.
