Need specific info please no haters

Allright im 17 ive got a 1990 nissan with the Ka24e in it it has a 3 inch exhaust (came with car) and an Injen SRI i recently installed. now for the good stuff its coming closer to warmer weather here in NY so i was going to add a t25 turbo but before i go blowing all my pizza delivery money on some random turbo id like to get some straight info . How necasary is an Intercooler. i know what they do just need to know if it is worth it to install. Because of the low PSI will have have to do any other majior surgery (i.e. fuel delivery) other than the new manifold and piping for the intake and exhaust? How do i go about installing the Oil cooler for the turbo im kinda new to that whole idea. alot of the turbos im seeing have a wastegate already installed internally, should i get this option or just get my own wastegate and BOV. and for the biggest question of them all.. ECU.. will have to get a new ECU or can i somehow tune mine? im sure this has been brought up before but id like to have it all in one place at one time lol.

If I were you, I would immediately post back saying "nevermind, I'll search the forums" it will save you from the onslaught.

The questions you just asked have already been asked and have already been answered a million times on this forum. Or go to the KA-T section of the Turbo topics and read up on the stickied topics which provide more than enough info. All the info is in one place, but like a book, you have to search for the right pages/chapters to read up on. I've already made it more than simple for you by pointing in the direction you need to start searching/reading.

NiSmO Knight is right, if searching for that kind of information is too big of a task to take on, then I don't think a turbo is right for you just yet. Anyway, turbocharging is no minor job. You will definitely need more than just a new manifold and piping.

You're lucky that what you're planning on doing has been done thousands of times - that means there's plenty of info from those who came before you. Google is your friend

You never know, the miscelaneous stuff will come in handy somewhere down the road. Literally. Read as much as you can, even if you dont think its worth reading. The content more than likely have something that will help sooner or later.

thank YOU for not being an ******* and immediately getting all defensive when someone tells you to search. i hate those ****ers. Being that you're so young (i'm not very much older ) you've got lots of time ahead of you to read up on everything. Please don't take any offense to this, but judging by the kinds of questions you're asking, you've still got a lot of learning left to do. But that's half the fun of wrenching on your car.
