What motor do you have?? And it would help if you would write in english, not gibberish. HAHA. Cant understand what your trying to ask.

the 4 tooth method is the one i had always read about, were you set to TDC when you did the install? and does changing the idle speed do anything for the rough idle?

also, don't suppose you got before and after dyno numbers for this?

sav180 03-13-2009 07:18 AM

i set the tdc to stock location and did the 4 tooth method..the 1st set of lobes has to face away from each other right???

do anyone has a pic of the cams so i can see if i did it right..do u do it by 4 chain links or 4 holes for the teeth

Obviously, it is a KA engine that he is talking aboujt by the lift/duration cam that he is using 248/248. Anymore HAHA's and post whoring out of you; you and I will start to have some serious problems. Your comments on this forum are the only gibberish I see.

The four tooth method is great for bottom end torque, but you will never have a smooth idle. The engine doesn't create a steady vacuum to keep itself running right. i never adjusted the idle speed when I had mine, but I doubt it will help. Running the three tooth method gives a perfect idle with a better top end boost.

sav180 03-16-2009 10:32 AM

yea...u wouldnt have a pic of what the 3 tooth looks like??the idle is a lil ruff

sav180 03-23-2009 08:22 AM

has any one tried the 240x240 cam swap??how do u set up the 240 cam on the exhaust side?vinny i know u know

RMS13FU 04-09-2009 08:56 AM

The intake cam on the exhaust side would be rotated the same amount of teeth, in the opposite direction

sav180 04-11-2009 10:16 PM

oo ight i tried the 240x2 and 248x2..dont really care for how the idle feels.its totally crappy..i jus went back to stock till i get some bc's
