93 KA24DE Intake Manifold

Hello,

Is an intake manifold off of a 91 KA24DE compatible with a 93 KA24DE?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks
Cotton

Yes, I believe the 95 to 98 ka24's had a different intake manifold that had more flow. Please correct me if I am wrong.

91-94 are the same.. they all have OBD1 style plugs and Throttle body.

the 95ish to 98 all have secondary butterflies removed ( you can manually do this to the OBD1 manifolds) and flow is increased.

Thanks for the reply!

Might be buying a manifold from someone and there was some confusion as to whether it was a 91 or 93?!?! turns out it is a 93. Just wanted to do my homework in case it was a 91!

Thanks again for the help :)

More flow because it doesn't have the Butterflies correct or is there a design difference that allows more flow?

because the butterfly/swirl valves are gone. same design.

on the later years, a air temp sensor along with other OBDII items were introduced

All 1991 through 1998 nissan 240sx KA24de manifolds are all bolt on compatible. it just the additional hardware such as TB, aand some sensors are not, and the 95-98 do not use the SCV's or solenoids.
