Alright, I got a few questions. I was talking to a buddy about cars and he brought up that his brother has a 240sx fastback. All I have to do is just tow it. He's telling me that before the car was towed the car ran well. Now after it was towed it only goes in reverse. So he says that the tranny is bad and possibly driveshaft. From my understanding the tow driver didnt put the car in neutral. So something got messed up. What could it possibly be? Also is it worth the trouble? Im new to 240's and the whole scene and dont want to make a bad choice. Oh yeah and if it is the tranny and driveshaft how costly would it be to get it replaced since its basically stock? Thanks for any help.

so you're getting it for free? if there's no rust and you don't have to restore anything other than what you had posted.....then get it. if you have to rebuild the tranny or get a new one, but the car is free then you get your money's worth.

Sounds like a good deal. Definitally check for rust underneith.
You can get a tranny cheap enough. Pray that it screwed up the pumpkin too so you have a good excuse to get a vlsd
