any of you guys running one belt?
 

i currently have 2 belts since i have removed my power steering and air conditioner. i have one belt for the alternator, and one belt for the water pump. the alternator's belt is on pretty snug, but for the water pump, its one fitted belt with no tensioner. what i did was measure the distance around both pulleys so i can go buy the closest fit one. well i got one on there, its not super tight but its on there. i have no mechanical fan so theres not much stress on it as well. i have been driving with this set up for about 5 months now and i have no problems. i just wonder if i can use my alternator for a tensioner. like use all three pulleys with just one belt. has anyone done it? thanks for the future responses.
