the NISSAN HARDBODY in the early 90's it wasnt givin a name like titan or fronteir or whatever it was just called nissan hardbody. It was offered in both 2wd and 4wd in both the 4cyl and v6. and in both automatic or manual. the early hardbodies got the ka24e and the VG30E then the VG33E/VG33DER and then the KA24DE then the VQ30DE then VQ40DE and the QR25DE(2wd only)

the transmission will fit, you will need r32 gt-r front end components, and it will cost a pretty penny to convert it. especialy since your going to use a transfer case which will make it 4wheel drive. There has been a shop here in socal that has converted the s14 into awd and they offer the conversion but its expensive. it would probably be cheaper to swap a ej25? a WRX sti motor or what ever.

Wait, 4wd and awd are two completely different things.

As for the conversion, full race is working one, Full race is having trouble with it as well, its obviously not easy if full race has difficulty with it, and they are fabricators like crazy.
