Big problem, no start..

like you put the key in, accessories go on but once you try to start it, they all turn off and it doesn't even click.

have the battery tested but not just the volts, it could be that you don't have enough amps. there are other possibilities but this is where i'd start looking.

i bet its that crappy PA air, it probablly clogged up your intake

jk but seriously, get that battery checked out.

check fuses...

edit: could his blown transmission have anything to do with this? I'm not mechanic, don't hurt me if it sounds stupid.

I think its the transmission.

try this:

key on the ON position. Shift transmission all the way to 2nd, then back to park THEN try to start it.

if no go, try:

key on the ON position. Shift transmission to neutral. try to start it.

try combination of those above.

This has helped me before.

yes it is possible for a faulty neutral safety switch or bent linkage to prevent the car from starting. based of the brief discretion i don't believe that to be the case here.

oh alright so it probably is the battery? I'll try after school tommorow to like try to start it with a jump, then try that other idea too.
