I have a 90 240 sohc, Can I buy a dohc froma ka24de & use it.?

If so....what else do i need to do to make the engine run properly ?

why do you want to switch heads?

 

My current sohc head is fried...& being a newbie I had thought that a dohc head would give my motor more torque/hp etc...

So instead of spending $ for a sohc...I'd get a dohc.....I guess it makes more sense to just buy a complete DE motor....and grow from there...

 

its ez'er to swap a dohc motor than making the head fit

 

yes you can make it fit but why waste time and money
