Do I need the clutch fan on my 93 240?

No nissan jus put it there for you to take off. I would leave it alone.

do you have an electric fan as well as the clutch fan??? if the answer is yues you do then you can remove it... keep an eye on the temp gague tho... your electric fan might not be enough to keep it completely cool...
if you want to remove it then go to a junk yard and get a fan off of a v6 ford taurus... they are cheap and they move enough air to cool the motor...

I do have electric as well...and it seemed kinda pointless to have both fans on there. Thats why I was wanting to know if it would be fine without it....

mine ran a little warmer when i had it running... but it was fine here in tenn... now im looking into an electric water pump... less parasitic drag on the motor... up to 25 hp...
