a 12 inch fan will work yes... or you can get a fan out of a tarus sho from the junk yard... dual 10 inch or dual 12 inch will also work... older altima electric fans will work as well...

Is the reason you don't buy a Flex-a-lite or Greddy fan just because they are more expensive?

For my car I'm planning on running G20 fans. Mainly because you can't beat oem fan/shroud performance (I've heard too many people complain that the FAL's aren't pushin as much air as they're rated) and becasue it's the only set up I know will bolt right on, I don't want to be pokin holes through my nice new expensive radiator.

G20's have electric fans? What about the Greddy fans? Do they suck too?

you can use altima fans as well... as far as the price thing goes... if you can buy a fan that works for 50 bucks then why not do it and use the other 150 you saved buying junkyard arts on somethig else...

there's also SPAL fans. they're pretty awesome, and way more reliable than Flex.

I am using dual 12" fans on my DOHC, and they flow plenty of air. I am not sure what brand they are, got the for free from some guy that wrecked his car, but they look like and a fan you would buy from advance or checkers or something. All I know is that getting rid of that damn clutch fan noticeably increased my throttle response.
