Angry go and no go

i have a 91 240sx with the twin cam.problem is that when accelerating, the engine wont go over 2500rpms.then you will feel a jerking and no acceleration.you have to let off under 2500 to accelerate until you hit 2500 again.i have been told it was the maf sensor but i want to be sure.help, please!

i think that your right it is related to the maf. i'd check for continuety, check the maf terminal for corrosion, or a loose conection.
it's most likely a bad conection but you might aswell clean the maf sensor while your at it.
