Question Was this a good deal or not?

I just bid on an intake system for my 95 240SX for only $24.50 and won the auction.

Anyone recognize who makes this kit? Is it just a cheap knock off?

Actually i've got a spare K&N cone filter from my 300ZX Twin Turbo. Should they be swappable?

That pipe looks a tad bit small. Check out the coupling. It's reduces to a really small size.

That my friend is your usual "knock off" "generic" "copy" type intake system. Like Jynx said, change the filter to at least a K&N (the one you have should fit if the intake diameter is 3" or something)... as for the pipe tapering, I think that's partly because the pipe end is behind the generic filter in the pic, and then there's perspective too...

... I have something like this too (Ebay intake) but I changed the filter and it works fine bro.
